Hey all,
BanillaWafer here wishing you all a Merry Christmas! This year on Twitch I'll be running a fundraiser for Child Abuse here in Australia.
Christmas is a time of joy and wonder for many people of the world, but not for some children in tough situations. In this festive period the number of reported abuse instances jump significantly, and in Australia it accounts for over 13% of police calls over the 12 day period. These kids need help to get out of these situations, the ones out of them need assistance from organisations such as Act For Kids.
Over the 10 day period from the 15th - 25th we're aiming to hit $150, and increasing it by an increment of 50 each time the goal is hit. Even the tiniest amount counts as these kids can use all the help they can get, so a few dollars from your pay can help massively.
As a personal commitment I have pledged $30 to get us kick started and will further add an extra dollar per user that stays for an extended visit on the stream and the same for each follower. You can help the charity even if you can't donate yourself, just by watching in that time!
